What was the last book you read that stuck with you? I don’t think there is anything I can say to add to how necessary this book is. The time travel, the plot, the characters… Whew this was a ride and what I call black speculative fiction at its finest. Octavia definitely made it into my top five reads of all time easily without question! i know this is an oldie but goodie and I’m well aware that I owe her an apology bc the first time I read this is was literally fighting my way through undergrad. Those of you that know my book taste know I don’t really read fantasy… Is this truly fantasy? I could argue either way… But is it just plain good ol writing? Baby yes! Just as satisfying as this plate sitting before you! Have y’all read this classic? Now I want to go get the graphic novel because wheeww this needs to be a movie 😩😩😩
